FAMILY WEEKEND • OCTOBER 3

Once again, our families showed up

The final score may have been Southern Connecticut 40, Saint Anselm 10, but there were still small victories worth celebrating. The Hawks finished with 295 yards of offense, Evan Dunker passed for 209 yards, and Kilan Jean-Paul Perry turned a third-quarter catch into an exciting 56-yard touchdown.

But Family Weekend was about more than football. One of my favorite parts of these weekends is talking with parents about their sons and hearing their stories. Whether their player is a freshman just beginning this journey or a senior nearing the end of it, the pride and love these families have for their sons is unmistakable.

Thank you to every family who attended, volunteered, brought food, supported the raffle and cheered for our Hawks.
